What gets me most about LA traffic is non stop bikers lane splitting.
You are doing 5mph maneuvering and trying to get over, then a bike doing 50 drives by on a bike.
If I lived in ,LA, I'd have a bike. Traffic doesn't exist in LA on a motorcycle.

I've seen several very severe wrecks involving bikers lane splitting. You couldn't pay me to lane split on the 405. Hell, I had a buddy get hit on his bike on the 405 and he almost died and he never lane splits in heavy traffic.

El Segundo, thank you for your insight. Is the Metro safe to take to and from the game or should we take Lyft?

I was in Torrance for personal business last St. Patrick's Day, on a Friday. I got done early and was on the road just before 10:30 am. I was thinking, "great...I can get out of the valley before noon and miss much of the I 15 weekend traffic going to Vegas."

Then, I made the mistake of getting onto the 405.

I swear, it took me almost 15 minutes just to get off of the on ramp.

I've been on the blue line many times and never had an issue. The only thing I don't like is, when I go to Dodger or Kings games and kn9w I'm going to get plastered, I have yo take the green lime and connect to the blue line in Watts. That's pretty dicey but you wouldn't have to worry about that.

The coliseum is pretty close to downtown. I believe you could get there using one train without needed any connections, and it should only be a few stops. I’d just do that, it’s a lot cheaper than Lyft/Uber and u won’t get stuck in traffic.

The alternative is to have the Lyft/Uber drop u a few blocks from the stadium and u can walk the rest.
