Rockin 62 this
Year. Feel better than I’ve ever felt. Stopped drinking last November and gained 85 lbs…. Went from a very sick 106 to a very toned 190….

I had back surgery one week before my 49th birthday now I feel 69.

The only real hiccup I've had is leukemia. Felt great until 2015, and have been involved in treatment since Sept 21. I'll be spending two days a week in infusion for a while starting next week, targeted therapy type drug. The 1-4 blood tests a week get old.

But feel better than I have in 10 years. Sometimes that slide into "oldmanism" is your body telling you something is wrong. I'll pay better attention next time.

yea well wait until 50

Hit 50 back in January. Wasn't quite sure I would make it though since I got Covid pretty bad in August of last year. Was in the hospital for well over a month and on a vent for a week. It was a huge kick in the nuts since I was still lifting hard prior to at a pretty jacked 220# and my cardio was off the charts even though the aches and pains of almost 20 years of BJJ, boxing, and powerlifting were starting to take a toll. Through a lot of hard work (and 100% natural btw) I hit the scales at 220 again back in March. Pretty much all strength is back but my gas not so much. I can't roll anywhere near where I used to even though my lungs are now clear.
