You have to be trolling. You cannot actually believe this. ????

But were we though?

Sure you can. Unless you just have absolutely no tact and ability to interact with someone who maybe disagrees with you or has a different experience than you.

So it has somehow morphed from anger over an unjustified killing by the police to taking down the capitalist system to presumably put in some kind of socialist utopian society where there are no police to enforce laws (presuming there are any laws in this new society).

Scratch the surface of just about any "social justice" group and you'll find a bunch of communists.

Not the point. This outrage is fabricated. "Systematic racism" is a myth.

You'll always have collectivists and racists, but more often than not the racial angle is exploited. We do diversity better than anyone and the system is beyond colorblind.

The riots in MN shouldn't be racial, they are because it's forced as is most racial agitation. The police issue doesn't fall along racial lines, it's just spun that way.

I’ve read a few of the arguments pro rioting like what happened last night. The one I’ve seen more often than not is that the lower income minority voice doesn’t get heard and the oppression continues. So if you can get a voice in normal ways, the result will be civil unrest till they are heard. Not sure if I really buy that or not, but what I’ve read in a nutshell on reddit last night.

Did just finally see the full video from the arrest. frick that was bad. I’m a big believer in getting the facts first. But even if he was ODing, the officer had to have been the final nail in the coffin. His body was lifeless when they pulled him on that stretcher.

"Not having a voice" is a myth. This isn't a protest over that, it's an opportunity to loot.

I do think it's fairly safe to say that most white guys being detained and behaving like Floyd would not have ended up dead.

I do think it's fairly safe to say that most African American guys being detained and behaving like Floyd would not have ended up dead either.

This incident is not the norm, and tons of arrests happen daily that do not have this end result.

I remember reading: they were saying " police departments and government organizations are part of the capitalist machine that exploits poc. So places like target are corporations and the police are only here to protect corporations and capital.

I wish Target would put out a statement saying something like "We heard you loud and clear. We are shutting down all of our Minneapolis stores."

Collect the insurance money, and close shop.

The entire oppression angle has Marxist roots.

I’m just summarizing what seemed to be the collective opinion last night on reddit while watching the live streams. Not saying that is my opinion or not.

On the Jeffersons once George was at work and missed rioting and his respond was "Damn, I needed a new Color TV"

I think I’ve read too that police training absolutely shows officers to not apply the force to the neck like he did. But maybe someone more knowledgeable here can chime in on that?
