This is just one guy's opinion, although he is an expert, this is a clickbait sort of thing. They lost the bones - that's the problem.
And if they had the bones, they would need known relatives to compare it to. This guy is saying the the cats the eliminated Earhart as the source of these bones is wrong because he underestimated the height and drew a wrong conclusion about the sex. He also did another comparison study, and in his opinion, Earhart is more likely to be the source of these bones than 99% of the others he sampled.
So, I'm skeptical and taking it with a grain of salt.

Couple this with the heel of a woman's shoe in her size and the scraps of aircraft aluminum found on the island and it seems more likely than not.

Obviously she ended up somewhere. This is more along the lines of "Not so fast" - rather than "Eureka!" in my mind, though.

Myths and legends are man made. Earhart is a prime example. It's more profitable to keep this shite running than to put it to rest.

The people that talk about DNA in this thread never bothered to read the article. They don’t have those bones anymore, nothing to get DNA from... All they have is the measurements that were taken of those bones.
