Am confused as heck with all the options out there. Anyone got an idea what is a good mattress out there that is within a reasonable price range, somewhere in the 300-700 range give or take. All i can tell you is i need a king size, semi-firm i guess, not something that i sink into when i get in bed. Being available locally is a plus if possible, wanna have it by this weekend fingers crossed. have browsed costco and sams websites as well as amazon, looking for recommendations. Thanks

ETA: Yes 300 is way too low, but the price range varies from 300 to 3000+_for a mattress and its confusing as frick trying to find one that may be right for us. Guess 500-800 is probably more reasonable range but who knows what you get in that price range

What's a nice Pillow Top, not too firm....but not too soft.
Do they even make pillow tops anymore? I'm looking at getting my Butler a new one for his birthday.

If you somehow find a king for $300, under no circumstances put it under a black light.

There are probably some vacant lots in North BR with some free king size mattresses available. You just have to arrange for the transportation.

They still make them. I got mine made at Capital Bedding on Choctaw. They make mattresses for retail, but they’ll sell to the public. Discount if you pay cash.

It takes them a while to get around to yours though so if you want something ASAP they won’t work.

Oh ok, yeah I like soft where you sink in almost, I know I don't like firm. A few times I've stayed at hotels with awesome beds I've taken a picture of the label, seems like most of the time it's like a Sealy. Sounds like a good place, I'll have to check them out.

I contacted them based on your post in another thread and they no longer do retail to individual customers, only to stores and long lag times

Does he make any "hybrids?"

Also, how is their pricing compared to Sam's, Costco, and online retailers such as Casper, Leesa, etc.?

I purchased a Casper but ended up returning it. Too firm.

Ended up with the Tuft and Needle Mint. I really like it. Think with the sale it was around $1090 or something out the door. Good luck finding anything worth a shite on your budget. No disrespect

Go to sams club. Find mattress. See if it’s comfortable. Buy it if you like it. Or just buy one of those online mattress gimmicks with a six month return policy, and save up for a decent mattress in the interim.

We have a Casper. It started out great --- and it still maybe, but I find it too soft especially now that I sleep on my left side, near the edge of the bed.

I like memory foam, but I think I may need to look for something that has stronger support on the edges and a hybrid might fit the bill.

Ours is 7-8 years old but it was better than places like Mattress Firm at the time. Billy will totally customize what you want. Ours has been awesome.

We bought a stearns and foster for 3k, we like it. If you found one for $300.00, either I really fricked up or I probably don't want to sleep on it
