Someone with a marketing degree came up with the old branding you loved.

The fact that so many are up in arms about the change proves that marketing is actually pretty fricking important. Difficult concept to grasp, I know.

This boards leans heavily conservative obviously so the who cares line means

1) you are not a man
2) you are trolling
3) you disagree with what is being discussed

It’s also telling posters like you will have dozens of posts in threads like these claiming to hate both sides

The number of “truly moderate” posters here is extremely small. Salmon is the only one I can think of

I made fun of tOT for saying that marketing was a worthless bullshite field. Clearly it's not, as a marketing blunder here has caused the core customer group to melt down. If it was worthless and bullshite, then why does anyone care?

It's not my fault Proximo is a retard and couldn't grasp this basic concept.

I didn't go to Cracker Barrel very often but when I did I used to enjoy all the old pictures and stuff hanging on the walls

Everyone did. It was a large part of the appeal. You always knew that each location would have its own unique items on the wall and it was part of the fun.

I’m starting to think that Tucker Carlson was on to something when he said that modern design is purposely designed to demean you and passively tell you that you're a worthless, replaceable bag of meat.
