And who are the primary shareholders of that publicly traded company? Who have majority stakes in it? It's all blackrock, vanguard, etc. They are calling the shots here, like they do with most woke corporate bullshite.

Public sector unions and government pension funds are probably the biggest group of customers for BlackRock. These customers make it a stipulation for BlackRock to invest in companies with DEI or ESG or whatever the nonsense is called these days. Then BlackRock tells companies basically “Go the Gay Way” or we won’t invest in your company.
So all of the companies hire a bunch of liberal chicks and minorities l, put the pride flags up and ruin the peg game at Cracker Barrel too.
Basically we shouldn’t allow public sector unions or government funded retirement programs to participate in the stock market.

IMO, Cracker Barrel suffered through the Covid epidemic and was never able to come back. I used to pretty much eat breakfast there every Sunday morning and ate there frequently when traveling alone on business. Finally had to quit going because the food quality and the waitstaff got so shitty thst I didn’t want to eat there any more.
They don’t need a brighter paint job….they just need better food and timely service. When you are on the road, you can’t be spending two hours for some shitty food.
