Society only functions if men take charge and fix the problems that arise. If everyone else ignores it and goes about their day it compounds into bigger and bigger issues.
I was past the dude. I could have kept going. I was home free. But my personal code stopped me.
The dude could have been hurt or dead or whatever. But more importantly if that car just sat in the road then traffic would slow to even more of a crawl than it already is. 2 minutes of work got people home quicker.
The fact that god knows how many people passed up the issue before me is the stupid thing.
