I'm leaving for Texas tomorrow and yesterday I told the kid to lock up the uhaul trailer and put the key on the counter. The trailer is locked up good but there is no key on the counter. The lock is one of those round heavy duty deals that would take forever for me to grind off. Anybody know if a locksmith is capable of opening this thing? Any suggestions? I would like to shoot it but I don't think that is an option.

Are you in Baton Rouge? The gentleman that runs American Safe and Lock on College Drive popped open a trailer-hitch lock -- with a round lock like you describe -- without breaking a sweat. Nice guy.

Nice try. Where’d you score the stolen trailer?

Metabo cutting wheel and about 30 seconds and it's off.

Do you feel locky, PUNK?

Call All Star Safe and Lock
225-806-0776

It can possibly be picked but may have to be drilled. If you can wait til tomorrow morning, it will be cheaper.

Probably less than a minute to pick it.

Sounds like you need to get a new grinder and/or better cutoff wheel.
