Being outdoors is a Lib’s biggest defense for why protesting is okay

All of this is virtue signals-- this virus is no threat to 99.9% of high school athletes.

Working outside in this heat with a mask is 100X more dangerous.

Look at the data, LHSAA.

The heat index is 108 in Dallas today. They're going to kill more kids of dehydration with these draconian rules than covid has.

In calcasieu, starting today they have to wear a mask at ALL times except for intermittent "mask" breaks when they are separated 6ft apart.

The parish school board risk management is strictly enforcing it, for those who are asking about enforcement. They are using in person check ups and live camera footage on campuses to monitor.

I cant speak on what other parishes are doing.

To be clear, the only risk that risk management board cares about is risk to themselves and the board. They don't give two fricks about what risks do or do not apply to the students/athletes.

If they actually cared about risks to the athletes, there would be no mask enforcement.

I received an email this morning saying that work sites are exempt from the mask mandate.

Masks are so effective and needed that we waited 2+ days to begin "enforcement" and then we still exempt some from the mandate. What a clown show.

ETA: From the email
quote:

The E.O. states, "...when inside a commercial establishment or any other building or space open to the public, whether indoor or outdoor." The Administration's outdoor reference is to any outdoor seating at a bar, restaurant, sporting event, etc. Not construction activity. And too, there must be public access.

Therefore, we advise that the Executive Order does not effect construction activities. However, it was emphasized that social distancing should be adhered to whenever possible.

I hope everyone was 6 feet apart in that huddle. Otherwise, 10 yard penalty
