Trust me, I know that it's hard to match paint between metal and plastic parts. My front fender is probably a half a shade darker in certain lighting. You know me stout, if it was close, I wouldn't complain. But it's horrible. You're not supposed to be able to tell a repair was made. That's what reputable body shops pride themselves on. I think we both can agree on that

Why are your windows so dark? Are you hiding something or yourself?

In 1983 I picked up a new 2 tone Buick Regal Limited from the dealer in Bham. I stopped at a grocery store and a kid riding a buggy full of groceries rammed it. The dealer repaired and painted the door. It did not match at all and he tried to tell me it was the light and take it home, etc? I told them I am not taking it like that. A week later they call me and they had painted the entire side of the car. MFers. I argued for another car just like it. They finally agreed to not charge me. What a pile of crap that was!

A Mopar shop should be able to order the paint directly from the factory and not have to worry about mixing it for themselves.

Any other body shop would have to mix it together in house and spray.

I am not saying you're in the wrong and should accept that work. I am just telling you what might have to happen to fix it.

SO if you had to bring it back to an independent body shop that had done the work would you have expected them to give you a loaner? I didn't thinks so. So why should a dealer?
Talk about apples and oranges.
