Police said Watkins threatened a customer pumping gas with a gun and stole the victim's wallet, keys and phone. McCarroll waited in a car, police said, and both drove down the street where police found them later. Investigators said before the holdup around 11:30 Tuesday at the Cracker Barrel, the couple was responsible for a nearly identical holdup at the Circle K on the corner of Highway 16 and Lockhart Road. McCarroll might also be responsible for a theft in Walker Monday, police said.

This story kinda hit me like a ton of bricks. I am at this Cracker Barrel a lot and I recall seeing these two approaching people at the gas pump when i was there. No doubt it was them. No gun or anything, just straight trashy pan-handling bull shite.
I finished pumping my gas and left before they could make their way to me.
What freaked me out a bit is that I carry....had that dumb-arse come over and attempted to pull his gun (know known to be a BB Gun) it could have gone real bad. I have zero doubt in my decision to draw and fire given the available opportunity. Brandishing BB gun indicates no serious intent to use the gun, thus a window of opportunity likely opening for someone like me to draw and fire.
Really could have messed up my Christmas
