ARE you going to demonstrate how to do a proper slide? If so, then get baseball pants. If not, shorts are perfectly fine. This comes from years of experence coaching youth baseball.

No. Our field is that new style field turf on the IF with the little rubber grass things. Real Grass OF. I don't thing youd be able to Really slide on that crap.

Of course. Baseball pants are a must for any coach no matter the level of competition. Is this even a question?

I coach baseball and for games I always wear khaki shorts and tennis shoes. If not khaki shorts some nicer looking Columbia fishing shorts in gray or black.

If it's hot, wear Nike Golf khaki shorts. If you have to wear pants, Nike Golf khaki pants.

The organizations always make the all star coaches wear uniforms. I have never understood why. It’s just little league baseball

I go full uniform. It’s a little tight because all they have is youth sizes.
