Who said anything about poor people? Are you inferring that people of color are poor? The argument that we hear is that voter IDs are racist. What does that have to do with poor people? You must be a racist for thinking that all poor people are minorities or that minorities are mostly poor.

See how that works?

What’s really racist is believing black people are incapable of doing something as simple as getting an ID.

It’s sad to me that minorities let themselves be infantized by others in this way. I’m not even sure if that’s a word, but jeez I would be so embarrassed if a group of people thoughts so poorly of me just because of my race or income status.

I.E. if I ever heard someone say “Oh, he’s from Louisiana so he can’t be expected to know he needs to_____” id want to kick their arse

Yet minorities allow liberals to speak for them and tell them everything that can’t do.

One is a constitutional right the other one isn't. There's a legit reason to have IDs but this agruement is fricking trash

Seeing naked dancers.

If anything should be a god given ID free birthright, it should be that.

Poor people are less likely to have an ID, and for some it isn't super easy. What we should be doing is making it easier and more convenient to get one. Instead we got Republicans banning water and making it harder to vote based on fraud that doesn't exist

Democrats didn’t believe it when they wanted ID for absentee voting when Republicans created it in GA. Hypocrisy much? “This bill would actually open the door wide to opportunities for voter fraud because it allows voting by mail where you present no identification whatsoever,” Democratic Secretary of State Cathy Cox said in an Atlanta Journal-Constitution article. “So those parts of the bill really don’t jive in my mind in terms of any real effort to crack down on what someone perceives to be voting fraud.”

Why can't I hand out water to people in line to vote?

Oh, so on one hand you can't live anywhere, hold any employment, or get paid without a valid ID, but that is a trash argument showing that to require voter ID to verify that said person is entitled to vote once in that particular location is a trash argument.

Why don't you tell me how race factors into this? That's the trash argument.

You Probably have never met a poor person in your 20 years of life.

It's incredibly easy to get an ID. I'm sorry its difficult for you, maybe ask some of those "poor people" who have ID

FFS, if you can't figure out how to get a free ID, you shouldn't be allowed out in public.

the only reason “people” hand out water in line is electioneering. but you knew that

Think about it. Democrats are marxist, Marx was a virulent racist.

They act like black people are incapable, and wards of the State.

You can just not 150’ from the polling location.

Why do you need to hand out water in line to vote? Are Democrats so dehydrated they can’t wait the 2 minutes that was the average GA wait time (that also can be checked online) without a drink?

Reminder it is Republicans that actually vote in person. They don’t seem to mind.

Why can’t you bring your own water if you are that thirsty?

Why did Democrats abuse the law and use a nicety to work the system with?

These are all great questions.

That's a whole of lot of garabge to say you hate our constitution. FWIW I'm not entirely against ID laws but I feel like we need to make sure they're super easy to get before hand

Statistics aren't racist the majority of those without an ID are black. While I don't believe these laws are some Jim Crow shite this is where they're getting it from.

Dems have a really bad habit of getting in their own way

My handyman, a white Vietnam vet, can't seem to get a current ID. He has one that's 20 years old but I can't seem to get him to get a new one.

Because there are lines that take hours but hey man frick those people who want to help others. As long as they're not campaigning while doing it then they should be able to hand out water and snacks

I can play this game too, why do Republicans want less people voting? Couldn't be because in elections where there are more votes Republicans win.
