So did this designer completely rule out the owners parking next to anything ever again?

If you watch the video it says the doors won't make it to the final model, they're just to provide a good view of the interior.

Ford CEO was on CNBC this AM (Squawk Box) saying the gull wings were purely for the concept and would NOT be on the production version.

The concept allows them to experiment and push the limits on an actual working model. They will take bits and pieces and put them into the production design, but the concept itself will never see production. Just looking at this one, the gullwing doors, trunk case, three side steps, minimalist steering wheel and center console, will almost certainly not be seen in a production vehicle.

The 2015-16 Ford F-150 looks very similar to the atlas concept

-Center console is ugly as shite
-gullwing doors defintly wont go on the production model, most likely just to show off the interior
-wheels are hideous.
Other than that I like it

Depending on where the hinge is for gull wing doors, they usually require less space to open than normal doors

They are only for show anyway.

The interior is bad arse. Suicide doors on the back would be cool

The back end kinda looks like a range rover.

It looks almost identical to a range rover... So do the headlights.

It's 2016 bro. Engineers got to work on that problem.

Obama and Putin are seated in the far back seat.

Guess who sit where?

(HINT: Obama is the leftist of the two)

I hate articulating running boards, they move too slow.

Overall kinda cool, though.

Parking garages are trashy. OT ballers don't need no parking garages.

I agree. Everyone who keeps saying how you won't be able to open your door in a garage is confused.

Conventional doors open out, gull-wings open up.
