Threat Level now at level 1!!!!!!!!!!
LINK
Level one signifies a severe and uncontrolled level of COVID-19 in Harris County, meaning outbreaks are present and worsening and that testing and contact tracing capacity is strained or exceeded. At this level, residents take action to minimize contacts with others wherever possible and avoid leaving home except for the most essential needs like going to the grocery store for food and medicine.
She is saying we need to flatten the curve... AGAIN!

We're fricked in the next few weeks. The people running the states will continue to freak out over the new numbers.

I never picked up nor looked into why a Judge is the one making the rules in Harris County. What's up with that?
And a quick search tells me that makes her the county executive. Neat.

All the hospitals said they’re at no risk of being overrun, so isn’t the curve flattened?
But, NEW CASES!
Maybe Dora can reopen her $60 million NRG field hospital that hasn’t seen a patient yet

Perfect timing. We just finished up with burning the country down and now we can huddle up again and destroy the economy some more.
Woooo. America.
Woooo. America.

She's not really a judge, but they call their county board the "commissioner's court" with district-elected commissioners and the head of it is a "judge".
Yeah, it was stupid to me too when I lived there.

Healthcare CEOs of the Texas Medical Center said during a Thursday press conference that a letter that was sent out to the community Wednesday regarding the hospital system's "increasingly stretched" ICU capacity level was "misinterpreted," and stressed the pandemic is not eclipsing hospital capabilities to care for COVID-19-positive and other patients. Following reports that TMC had reached 97 percent capacity, Dr. Marc Boom, Houston Methodist President and CEO, said ICU capacity percentages in the 80s or 90s is "completely normal." "We have the ability to go far higher than that in terms of the ICU beds we can utilize for COVID-19 patients," Boom said. "...We have PPE (personal protection equipment) we have the capability, (and) we have learned enormous amounts about caring for people with COVID-19."
Not to mansplain or shite on a minority’s opinion, but I’m gonna go ahead and take the word of the CEO of one of the best hospitals in North America over that of someone with a sociology degree voted in on BETO ticket
