According to T-Pain, he used to witness Wayne and Birdman making ridiculously large bets on games of Madden when they were in the studio together. We’re talking $10,000 per game. And to make matters even crazier, Pain says the two didn’t actually play the games that they bet on. Instead, they counted on computer simulations to determine who won.

Let me tell y’all a story. Let me tell y’all how rich ****s are. When I used to be in the studio with Lil Wayne all the time and Birdman, Lil Wayne and Birdman would bet money. Lil Wayne and Birdman would bet $10,000 a game on Madden, and they would just let the computer play each other. They would bet that a team they pick would beat the team that the other guy picked, and they didn’t play the game. They just let the computer play each other, and they would just bet $10,000 on that game. I thought that was the most ballingest shite I had ever seen in my life. I never got in on the bets because, you know, I’m not an idiot. I didn’t want to spend all my money. I know them ****s got damn near billions of dollars, so I’m not about to act like I’m in that bracket. I made a few songs here and there, but goddamn!

Its all relative.
On a semi-related note, someone who was involved with a business partner of Birdman told me that Birdman was gay and that Wayne was his boy toy for many years. He's since been replaced with an ever revolving stable of young guys that Birdman brings around with him.
He acted like it was common knowledge in the industry.

To be fair..if it was just bets between themselves, it likely was just shifting the same dollars back and forth.
It is not like they were betting with Vegas and BOTH losing to some other person.
If a friend and I bet 10G on coin flips.....at the end of the day we both have the same amount of money we started with.

Well if it's just the two of them, and their picks are more or less random, they'll both end up with about the same amount they started with over time.

They've made a killing in the music business. They've made millions in the oil business as well.

A hair stylist in ATL (family friend) says T-Pain likes to blow his fortune on midget strippers. I'm not saying nothing is wrong with that.

imagining them sitting around yelling at the screen as they watch a computer simulated football is really funny to me

that story is nothing for their net worth
the ways to blow these fortunes typically are
1. record labels
2. car dealerships
3. real estate
4. restaurants
then your typical entourage and "agents/managers stealing money" methods
