Princess it actually is a vasoconstrictor so it stops the bleeding and it numbs

Lidocaine is actually a vasodilator

Epinephrine that is usually included in it is a vasoconstrictor

The epinephrine helps the numbing effect last longer and also inhibits bleeding but takes a few minutes to kick in

I guarantee you got scared from the needle and got woozy

I have injected thousands of fingers with local anesthetic and never seen anything like that

And no we aren't injecting enough to "go systemic" or "interact with your medications"

Just lol at the shite people throw out there

It's called a vasovagal response. Happens to a lot of folks. Not much you can do other than recognize the signs and sit or lie down.

You had a vasovagal reaction.

In layman’s terms, you are a puss and were overwhelmed

Same.

Scruffy also likes when they have an allergy to albuterol.

You're very incorrect.

Lidocaine has healing properties and speeds up healing; this is well-known.

Sometimes, Scruffy just injects lidocaine when they have a virus.

Heals them right up.

There’s really no point in it. Also prolongs healing.
You think people are going to sit still when they get jabbed multiple times with a needle while getting stitches ?

Congrats.

It is perfect to apply topically before port access, and for healing of painful incisions.

Not a chance in hell I’d have a stereotactic breast biopsy without lidocaine. That shite was no joke.

You were nervous, scared and overwhelmed. It can hit anyone. Don’t worry about it. Hope your fingers feels better.

Lidocaine interacts with a lot of other drugs. Might want to check the list of anything that could have been in your system against it and the potential mixture side effects.

Probably interacted with her Midol.

FYI, lidocaine can have a pretty strong interaction with Chlorphenamine (Claritin); dizziness, confusions, etc., so watch it if you take them both...
