I’m not raging at all over this. This doesn’t matter to me at all
It’s the response to it by others saying, “oh this was like 8 years ago, it’s no big deal” as if these wankers aren’t all around the country today doing this same shite (and in some cases more given the fact that they are emboldened for than ever.)
These people need to be condemned and shamed no matter how much time has passed and doing so can help prevent these antics in the future.

There are videos daily of these crazy people doing and saying all kinds of crazy stuff. So to think this is not happening a lot is simply not correct.

You are missing their point. It's not that the guy was an a-hole and people like him exist today. He was, and they do. The point is people who react to these specific videos like they happened yesterday are falling prey to fake accounts run by disingenuous click farmers at best and bot farms run by our enemies looking to seed even more division at worst. It's along the same lines as the "the demand for racism doesn't meet supply" argument.

People do fall for these reposting of videos years later, absolutely.
I wish people wouldn’t repost all this to stoke anger because there is PLENTY of examples from just yesterday.
Having said that, it doesn’t take away from the actual substance of the video and how those things haven’t died down in 8 years, they’ve gotten worse.

Agree. It doesn't, but any sort of public, negative response to those old videos is exactly what the bad actors running those bot farms are looking for.

That's debatable. You have to control for social media's continued expansion since then along with the aforementioned bad actors distorting the narrative to make people think the internet is exactly like real life. For example, as much lunacy that's out there, it hasn't risen to the level of city wide riots like in 2020. I don't think things have gotten worse since then, but that's just my perception.
