There’s a huge double standard on the OT. Apparently we can post naked huge man boobs and be fine but we’ll get banned as soon as we post pictures of topless woman.

By and large this can be considered Democratic based on the tolerance but they by no means have a monopoly on all you described. Plenty of debauched, repulsive perverts with fake virtue and faux victimization in the Republican Party. They just try to hide it a bit better. And not always successfully.

It's historic. Even back to biblical OT times. The perverse and corrupt are always drawn to the appealing places and promptly begin destroying everything that is good about those places. Sodom and Gomorrah have already been mentioned.
Remember the story of how Lot wound up there. He and his uncle, Abraham, needed to separate themselves because of the wealth each of them enjoyed (mostly measured in livestock) required a lot of land to maintain. Abraham gave Lot his pick of the land before them. Lot chose the beautiful, luscious land and Abraham went the other way with his possessions. What Lot found was Sodom and Gomorrah and rampant depravity all around him in a land that looked very appealing to the eye.
Similarly, the west coast of the US is stunningly beautiful. The landscape, the flora, the climate all up and down the coast. If you've even been to California, Oregon, or Washington you know exactly what I mean. And just like all that wonderful land of the Old Testament that drew individuals to it who created a depraved society, California, Oregon, and Washington have found themselves to follow the same path. It's not unreasonable to assume the same fate awaits them.
