The sex crime laws in this country can get crazy. No politician wants to be the one who "fights for child molesters" so this is a great opportunity for a jury to grow a pair, use their brains, and nullify. Since the prosecutor refuses to act human.

An 18 YO in North Carolina got thrown in jail for marrying a 17 YO. Both families had blessed the marriage and the police didn't want to do anything but the DA wanted to appear like a hardass against crime to they arrested him. The DA ended up being fired and sued for that.

The racist mentality in Shreveport (at least among whites) is dying. Not too sure about Bossier but I'd imagine their ways are a bit more dated compared to Shreve.

When smart phones became a teenage accessories. Laws have lagged behind tecnhology, and DA's are more concerned with getting arrests and trying to further their careers than they are looking after the public and upholding the spirit of the law.
It really is unequivocally evil what these officers of the law are willing to do.

Take race out of the equation, still not right to charge anyone with child pornography in cases like this.
