You missed the whole point of the comment.

No I didn’t - you missed the point that BR has always been ghetto and getting to this point was inevitable regardless of Katrina

65% of evacuees went back to the New Orleans area within a year or two after the hurricane. The majority of the 35% that didn’t go back are in Texas.

The idiots shooting and getting shot today were all about 18 years old and from BR.

Real plan: We hope to run out of killable people in the near future.

Until the black people who voted for Broome have enough of other black people being killed nothing will change.

Broome will not change her choice of police chief because she would have to admit she was wrong.

Forced bussing in the 80’s and now the high crime rate is pushing more white people out of EBR which will ensure more Democrat control. Maybe it’s their plan all along.

How exactly does a police chief stop black people from shooting other blacks people? Seriously, tell us.

1. Stop blaming Whitey.
2. Start a “build back the family” campaign
3. Start spending money in schools teaching personal responsibility.
4. Lock up repeat offenders to long sentences
5. Create an alternative to crime and violence.

You could start here.

I do know blaming whitey for all the issues in the black community only does one thing. Make “Black leaders” rich.

It's not a national issue. It's an issue in about two hundred cities. The other twenty thousand municipalities in the US are doing just fine.

Correct.

It’s a major issue in blue controlled urban areas.

But the left will blame anything and everything to keep that mirror from reflecting.

The most effect chief according to the data was Pat Englade.

Disagree. His numbers were before Katrina. With the population boom after Katrina I think you’d need to normalize these numbers per 100,000 residents. I’m assuming by that metric, Dabadie would have had the best numbers.

Someone else mentioned it. The real shite show is the Metro Council and SWB. They’re the assholes who spent what seems like five years trying to come up with a number to pay out the Sterling family…and themselves.

One of the bystanders WBRZ interviewed after the drive by outside the mall yesterday was a retired black Baton Rouge police officer. When the reporter asked him what could be done to prevent this gang-type activity he said "...somehow we have to touch kids and let them know that this ain't the way it should be."

And though this is true, it is almost impossible to imagine that kids who come from a community where a decent father is rare and only a government check supports them can ever be reached by anyone else in order to turn out respecting society.

Question: If white people demanded young black boys be brought up the way many of them are today, the travesty of dooming them at the start would immediately be identified and outrage would follow, right?

Except that a white man, President Lyndon Johnson and his ironically titled War on Poverty did create this destitute world for them.

Imagine that. When you incentivize criminals, you get more crime.

And it’s stupid liberal white people that add on to this. Yes, this is anecdotal, but when I worked in the education sector (not a teacher) I was TOLD by my supervisor not to treat the black kids the same way I’d treat my kids - and when asked why I was told bc they’re different. So, I was to not have any expectations or give them anything that would better themselves - REALLY? (And yes this was in BR)

At some point, you have to realize that these are the exact results that Democrat voters want.

They thrive on chaos and division. The more crimes their voters commit, the more they can blame on boogie men like white supremacy and gun control.

All of this is about getting power over YOU, their domestic enemy. They will never see these criminals as the thugs they are simply because they vote alongside them.

You are fighting a war right now and you don't even realize it. Not only are you fighting, but you are losing, and losing badly.

You don't. Once the vote is lopsided towards consumers, you get the hell out of dodge.

I don't know anything about Murphy Paul and his abilities or lack thereof as a police chief. But to blame him solely and not address the macro issue that is Democrat policy making is a waste of time. Murphy Paul is just a cop. SWB and her ilk are to blame for the policies that make crime inconsequential.
Murphy Paul is a racist toady that does whatever the mayor tells him to do, He had the exact same reputation as a political animal while he was employed by (I won't say "served in") the La. State Police.

He has pursued the firing of so many white BRPS officers (at the mayor's instructions) that the City Parish Council has refused to increase the budget for attorney fees to cover the unprecedented legal expenses.

Every State Trooper I know has the same opinion of M. Paul's career in LSP.
