3/4 of my children have traditional, yet not super common (at the time of their birth, anyway) names. #4 has a very unique, but real, name that people butcher all the time. Name your kid what you want just make sure they are employable.

Now let's see if this thread gets whacked.

A lot of people bash baby names here, but they never say what their children's names are. I am sure there a bunch of posters with trendy baby names that they all bash.

You should’ve seen the Woodlawn High School graduation program from three years ago where they list the graduates. I spent most of the graduation ceremony texting the funniest names to my wife (no pics). One girl had (I’m not kidding) four apostrophes in her first name.

Emery Rose is pretty. For a girl I assume.

"Emery" sounds like the stereotype of a Japanese person mispronouncing the name "Emily"...

Emery reminds me of emery boards, those little things you use to file your nails.

Good one...

I thought "Kolyn" might be an alternate spelling of the male name (and pronounced like) "Colin" (like Colin Firth, Colin Powell, or Colin Kaepernick).

But the spelling just looks female... who knows with these stupid names these days...

You are aware one of these isn't pronounced like the others right?
