Overturn? That’s not where that trailer normally stood, is it?

Think that's about 8-10 miles from my parents house.

Nah. That’s half a double wide and you can see the temporary turn signals still attached. It was on the highway.

The Brandon, Ms water tower can GFY. That Jackson radar coverage gap is a pain in the arse.

There is a low level gap between the Mississippi River and Lafayette in south Louisiana. It makes days like this really touch and go for the Baton Rouge area.

They typically warn everything because they can’t see the low altitude rotations very well, and they get a lot of false alarms during tornado outbreaks. And Lafayette is fairly blind to hurricane bands from the east.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who pay very little attention to the weather.

Warned storm North of Memphis

That is the Arkansas delta. They have several tornados every year and usually die out on the Mississippi River. South Memphis prolly shooting them down their gats.

Can anyone look to see if the warned part of the line heading for indianola area has an actual couplet indicating a tornado on ground

Have you ever seen the type of people who move trailers?

They have more teeth than IQ points.

I doubt it is on the ground at this moment, but that is the best looking rotation of the warned storms in your area.

It'll be on you in 9ish minutes.

I don’t think so, but you have sketchy radar coverage there too.

The tower in Arkansas is offline now. So the radar out of Jackson is all you really have.

Up here they sent the kids home from school at 1:30. Right now we’re under a tornado watch with a couple severe thunderstorm warnings entering SE Missouri. It got up to 77 degrees today.

Last time I did this thread, you all know what happened here.

I hope you folks are coming along on recovery, and that some help is still in the area. You'll never really shake that uneasy feeling on days like today.
