Maybe I am being too hard on you but damn who says that they would have a problem if their kid was just average intelligence?

That's what i said. You find a craft or job which suits you and you work you arse off at that craft or job. You decided to take the first sentence of my paragraph and attack it for no reason with your criticisms being addressed later in the paragraph. That is a terrible way for a lawyer to argue. I'm assuming you lose a lot.

I agree. See the first part of my post to which you are responding.

I'd still choose the babies. I can hold and stare at and talk to a baby for hours. I love babies

y'all keep ignoring the cost portion of the comparison
it's like eating a pill of nutrients for $1/day or eating full meals for $30/day
y'all keep comparing 2 things (sometimes not even comparable things) with equal costs. who wouldn't pick the superior option if the price/cost was the same? we all would. life, and more importantly this discussion, doesn't work that way

The more intelligent humans are flattered by their apparent obvious superiority, and fall into the delusion that they are "above it all." The essential delusion that their decisions and beliefs are, to the core, more validly based. In fact, they are rationalizing all their decisions after-the-fact to the same full degree as the unintelligent, and modern neurological and psychological tests support this. They are just better at rationalizing.
This is the third thread today I've seen you post this exact quote in. Is this your new OT mantra?

because this is about self perception, so they need to perceive the items. plus i'd wager many would flat refuse to eat a medium-rare steak

It's only the second time, and I copied it from my earlier post on the PoliBoard. If you're gonna call me out, get it right

I think there's a difference in mental limitations and physical limitations when it comes to being able to overcome the limitation itself. And often, those limitations are just perceived or preconceived based on social norms and limited desire.

Why does that bother you about your niece? I have never dated a black guy and don't plan to. That's as far as I'll go in owning up to my racism
But my mixed niece is just precious. I love her to death and wouldn't change anything about her

every very intelligent person who is honest
it's just like every normal parent would admit having a deaf child would be a problem
i'm not saying we pull a sparta and kill the kid, but to ignore the obvious frustrations that we would have to endure is just being dishonest
this scene is pretty good at explaining the frustrations

You are only thinking in tangible terms. A good lay can provide months, years of memories even, whereas you would be hard pressed to remember a great time when you jerked off. A good lay can even enhance your jerking off

You're assuming it's logical to always pick the cheaper option. Given the choice, I'll go with the $30 meal over the $1 pill everyday of the week. I will also go with sex over masturbation every day of the week. I'd rather spend my time and effort picking up a woman than beat off for 3 mins and sit in loneliness for the rest of the night.
Your cost analysis is stupid anyway. Picking up women that are worth a shite (not stumbling bar trash) and building confidence takes patience and practice. If you spend 2 years satisfying only yourself then say you'll go out and pick up a woman you're already behind in the game and all the resources you "saved" by pleasuring yourself were actually wasted since now you have no practice and no skill in the art of the pick up.

So people blind tasting wine can't see a bottle of Stag's Leap instead of the Black Box alternative? Atleast be consistent in your stance.

I'm the opposite. I'd pick the puppies every single time. Even when my nephew was a baby I got bored very quickly holding him and would hand him over to my mother in law(who would barely let others hold him anyways if she was there).
