I think it looks stupid but I don't give a shite about it beyond that.

I have three pairs of ostrich skin boots to pair with my suits so as to show everyone that I'm classy but not above a Natty fueled fist fight.

This, anymore I wear Exotic boots, besides being a more unique look they are more comfortable than my dress shoes.

Dunno man, seems like sneakers with suits are in.

Maybe youre behind

Definitely could be the case. Then again, a lot of dudes wear man purses now too and that's gay AF.

I agree. Suits are so 1960's.

I own one for weddings and funerals, mostly funerals in the past 10-15 years. Also job interviews but that's becoming way less common in my field. I'd say maybe 10% of candidates show up in a suit if the interview is even in person

I've got a couple jackets, ties and dress pants. I wear maybe once a year or less. Had them for 10 years or so.

Its an outdoors heaven, so people wear casual stuff to work and go straight to the boat, slopes or the trail from work.

Only time I see suits is when the legislative session is in.

IDGAF how it looks, I am glad wearing comfortable shoes with a suit has been normalized.

Former Saints coach Sean Payton was guilty of this last week. He had a nice suit and Nike tennis shoes. It look so goofy.

I don't do it all the time, but I've worn sneakers with a suit. It's not traditional, but it's in style right now and has been for a few years. It's also silly to argue that someone "isn't adapting to social norms" by not wearing dress shoes with a suit.

Who the hell would choose dress shoes over something comfortable?

My leather-soled dress shoes are very comfortable
