Fast food isn't really cheap anymore. There so many other quality options for the same price. I'm amazed that they're still around honestly.

If I'm hankering for a cheese burger, I'd consider 5 guys, Lankfords grocery, burger bus, or somewhere less processed (just as fatty....I get that).

Only fast food I can stand now is Taco Bell and Chick Fil A. The rest is too greasy, tasteless, and overpriced. The grease hurts my stomach now too.

That's true. A fast food "meal" is usually about $7. You can go one step up for about $2 more.

Taco Bell isn't greasy?

This thread has made me extremely hungry

Not compared to other fast food.

I went from living off it exclusively to not remembering the last time I've had it. I've never been fat or out of shape, so nothing's really changed. I simply stopped liking it for the most part.

I just either go to burger King or another fast food place called Jack's and get it over with.
I never get fries or a drink, just the burger.

Fast food - 100% crap, but I kill for Popeyes every now and then.
Posted on 6/10/16 at 10:50 pm to CharlesLSU
No desire to eat it. Chick fi A is as far as I go on a semi-regular basis.

I could walk to several popular fast food places from my house, but I've never been to most of them. Canes, Zaxby, Chipotle, etc.
I ate the hell out of Popeyes in school, and even had a few cheap arse Whoppers when on sale, but I quit all that many years ago. Just don't want it.

Now, that said, sweets stand no chance
If a guy tells me he has a "sweet tooth" I automatically assume he has a "I love boys tooth" as well

Now that's some sound logic

I have cut it down significantly compared to what I used to do. I haven't gotten any McDonald's burger besides a Big Mac in many years. I still like Sonic, Whataburger, and Wendys every once in a while. Popeyes and chick fil a are good, but I don't do it more than two times a week usually. If subway wasn't such a damn ripoff I'd go more often. I'm eating more rotisserie chicken, sandwiches, etc. I do feel better physically since eating less fast food

The only things we have as far as fast food is one Mcdonalds and two Subway locations. I get a Subway sandwich maybe 3 times a year.
I'll eat Deli food once a week or so though.

There's become a very gray area of what is "fast food" and what isn't.
Is it simply places with drive thru?
Do places like 5 guys count?
If so, how is that different from other chain "restaurants" like Outback and Chili's ?
Even then, they use many of the same ingredients that more well respected restaurants use.
So really, what is "healthy" and what isn't?
IMO it's all about moderation. I eat out probably twice a week, and cook the rest of the week. I workout daily and I consider myself in the upper echelon health and fitness wise.

Unless I'm blackout drunk I never eat BK, McDonalds, Wendy's, etc. I don't mind places like Canes or Zaxby's even though a chicken finger plate ans drink is like 1300 calories

I love greasy burgers but at least in my area, there's a hundred local places that make it better, cheaper, and to order so I don't hit the chains often. My problem is taco trucks and pho.
