Serious question..is it still "diversity" that's to be celebrated when it's all one ethnicity of people (who are not white)?

I agree with your premise, but do we know how many students of other ethnic groups tried to participate and were left out? If they were left out, is it because the pictured contestants performed better in their area?
Conservatives yell about DEI because it puts people in positions that they haven’t earned on their own merits. If these students were selected based on merit, what’s the problem?
