A friend of a friend attended our 4th of July cookout a couple of years ago. The fellow is a restaurant owner. After he gave us the rundown on proper poultry handling methods I've about quit buying the stuff.

After reading this thread I'm thinking about fixing some lunch. How does a big plate of lemon chicken sound?

I never get lemon in water or tea at a restaurant because I know most places don't take the time to wash them. I'm also actually leery of eating salads when dining out since I'm pretty sure the produce isn't cleaned properly, and because salads are not cooked, the bacteria on the veggies isn't "killed" making the odds of getting sick from salads greater than most other foods.

Bingo, and this is why germophobes are as annoying to me as vegans. Germs are fricking EVERYWHERE and if you start freaking out about something like lemons -- well before long you're not gonna be leaving your house.

Late at night while you're slumbering contentedly, the fecal fairies sneak in, open up the case and shite on it

I don't like the taste of lemon-water so there's that..

I'm sure I encounter germs in many other ways.

Guess what guys? Humans have a pretty amazing immune system and you don't need to worry about trivial shite like this.

This message has been brought to you by the beef industry.

E. coli, it does a body good. It's what burgers need.

True, but I'd rather not speed up the process by consuming the bacteria on some barely mediocre, definitely over priced, unwashed, grown-in-sewer of some third world country produce. That would suck. There are better ways to go.

I never understood the logic of why we shite and shower in the same room. This will not occur when I build my OT Baller mansion.
