Legos: who still builds them here?

I don't get the appeal at all. It's a kit with step by step instructions, how is that fun? I get annoyed every time one of my boys opens one of those damn boxes and proceeds to open bags 1 and 3 at the same time and then spread pieces around on the carpet. Anyway, when I was a kid we just had a bucket of pieces. You had to make up your own idea to build something, and you never had enough pieces to finish your idea. Legos suck.

I don’t do it as a hobby but I do it a lot with my Grandson. We build whatever he thinks is cool!

My boy is all about the duplo blocks now.
I have 4 large bins full of legos from when I was a kid and can't wait for him to be old enough to play with them.

When the older three were smaller - my husband would get on the floor and build all sorts of stuff with them
The little three love them too - so the big three and daddy help them build - my nephew gave my kids his collection - so we have wayyyyy too many - but they enjoy them
