So, this is my plan: I'm going to have lots and lots of chilren and spend as much money as I can during my lifetime. I'm not going to save a dime. When I get to the point of retirement, I think I will get into an altercation with police officers, try to get shot, survive said shooting, then sue the frick out of the police. After shot, I will sue and be set for retirement. That's a fricking WIN.

The mayor will probably enjoy handing them a check

I don't know much about wrongful death litigation.
But I have to imagine you take into account the deceased's work capacity, past income, education, and earning potential when calculating damages.
Wrongful death attorneys steer me in the right direction.
Do we know how much his CD business was earning? I heard on one board that it was actually in the low-six figures, based on his tax returns (I believe Mr. Sterling paid roughly 33% in federal/state taxes in 2015 from his business).

If hypothetically offered the choice of a couple of mil or the CD salesman be not dead, Saint Alton's family would choose the $$$ 100 out of 100 times.

Regardless the officers will be free to walk or not. This bs suing the cities. Ferguson,Baltimore, St. Anthony, and now BR. The officers should sue the city and families.

Hey man, let's leave Sprint out of this. I've been a customer of theirs for over 8 years. Gladly, I don't ever have the need to go into one of their retail stores.
A better wireless carrier to mention would have been Cricket Wireless or Metro PCS.

Like they are hurting financially because he's dead. He was homeless.

If the Metro Council approves a fricking dime to settle this, they should all be recalled.

Suffice it to say that Mr. Sterling is a far more prolific wage earner six feet under than he ever was or would have been while standing outside the Triple S Food Mart plying his trade

I guess you didn't watch the last shite show of a meeting they just had involving the EBRCOA?
This family is getting paid.
And this is as certain as this family getting a tax refund every April.

Loss of future wages: $379.77

You know your country is fricked when you can make millions for your family by doing wrong.

I wonder if this might be connected or motivated by the recent news that the city of Ferguson made a $1.5 million settlement with Michael "the Gentle Giant" Brown rather than have to deal with a trial in that case. Hmmm?????
