Have you seen some shitty prosecutors in your day?

I do tax, trust and estates. The only prosecutors I talk to are US Attorneys. They are all pretty sharp.

Seeing that Wal-Mart wrote the law, essentially, I would tend to agree with you.

So would you recommend setting up a trust or a pre-nup? Say you're coming into the marriage with all the assets, but deep-down you know you have to protect what's yours? I heard trusts are unbreakable in court, however, a pre-nup can fricked with during divorce proceeding's.

Way too many. Most lawyers are the type of guy that will inhale your nose clams post fornicating with thine hole.

I am interviewing for an in house spot right now and really hope I get it. Big increase in salary and no more billing hours.

For the first month after I left a firm and went in-house, I kept leaving every day thinking I forgot to do something. . . then I remembered I don't have to keep up with my time in 6 minute increments any more

They're probably just trying to make you feel better about dropping out after the 10th grade.

if we could just get the Legislature to pass a gay marriage bill, one year later the divorce/partition/custody battles over french bulldogs cases would start flowing in.

Sure the BOP on SNF cases is tough, but 90% of businesses have no set cleaning/inspection programs as per the statute, and their employees are either gone or terrible witnesses, which evens the odds up a bit.

What about co-mingling, how can one prove that the assets were combined during the marriage?

Oh and congrats on the possible new job

They will follow the money. Keep all assets you own prior to marriage in a separate account and open up new accounts for assets received after marriage.

Won't the wife think I'm up to no good with a separate bank account? How would you overcome this? Lie?

Nah, prior to getting married I had 4 financial accounts. Not for any particular reason, just how I had my funds invested. However, I chose not to get a pre-nup. My wife will probably end up making more than me in the long run and I think we have a pretty solid relationship.
