Unprofessional but nothing he'd lose his license over.
Stuff like this is why it's best to just stay professional no matter who you're sending the email to.

Funny part is , I wasn't crazy at all. I called him for a question and he spent 45 minutes telling me how bad his personal life is and he's getting divorced.
Maybe he's right. He's billing you for listening to him talk about his personal life for 45 min

Lawyer referring a person

On one hand, I hate other attorneys, so not surprising
On the other hand, clients tend to lie and are frequently crazy, so I'm not sure if I believe you

Well, we're you being crazy?

Well, I can assure you I'm not crazy. I won a judgment for a good amount of money plus attorney fees, then this attorney has a bunch of personal problems. He said he thought at this point it was best to refer out. I've already paid him upfront. I didn't balk at paying him. And then he does this bizarre introduction to this other attorney. I just need to find an ethical attorney who can handle simple business without drama.
