He thinks it’s “sad” 15 cars are parked in the median. It’s not sad if 15 drunks are taken off the street.
Oh, and the comments are good. “Where can I borrow some white skin?”

:Sigh:
Is this where everyone is encouraged to waive their rights to a search and or/seizure because you want to be seen as complying?

There's a difference between writing tickets for 15 DWIs and getting 15 drunks off the street.

It’s so sad that police literally force people to take their mask off and they hook them up to a covid machine all in the guise of stopping “drinking and driving”
You've been on your game since this mask thing came about !

I love that there's 30 officers at checkpoints like this.

I've always thought that if the police really wanted to serve the public by keeping drunk drivers off the streets, instead of setting up a check point with 30 officers as this guy suggests there are, they could send 2 officers to 15 different bars in that municipality and offer to call cabs/ubers for people who are leaving them too drunk to drive. Hell, maybe they could even let people use their breathalyzers to see if they're legally impaired before they commit a crime. But that doesn't make the cities any money.

If you removed all financial incentives from policing (no percentage of tickets, no percentage of court costs, no percentage of civil asset forfeiture, etc, etc, etc) and simply funded law enforcement through the general legislative appropriations process, you would see an absolutely breakneck change in policing policy/priorities/activity.

No problem, just like to call out people when they pull shite out of their arse and call it fact or common knowledge.

You don't generally get a ticket and get to leave for DWI. They arrest you if you are impaired.
