Yeah my brother said he’s working ER — I thought he was working with the military hospital but Memorial had to stay open for JCAHO is what I understood.

How does the other hospital have electricity? Where is that one located??

Keep pushing north, you wonderful linemen! Told my wife if we're still running on generator power in a week and don't have an estimate for electricity, we're going somewhere else until we do

Didn’t realize it was in sulphur — how big is it? Any idea? Glad they’re open — I worry about the clean up and accidents happening.

Day 1: securing the premises:

Day 14(?): securing the premises:

We’ve come so far!

ETA: Today, I was finally able to get office phone lines forwarded to my cell. Mailbox was full. We’re about to be insanely busy and my secretary is still displaced in NO.

Probably best case scenario for you/your family’s shop. Body damage from trees but no flood damage

ETA. Assuming by name you help run a well respected body shop/collision center.

Your assumption is semi-correct. I have no help running it It’s all on little ol’ me. I do appreciate (immensely) the “well respected” part though.

We’re in Sulphur. I can’t tell you the name because Mr. Chicken might/would want some advertising dollars but my SN gives it away.

The lineman have been quite friendly when we’ve visited them. They really appreciate cold Gatorade and snacks, one told us they aren’t getting them anymore.
They also appreciate cold beer to bring back to their campers!

Our parking lot is full of trucks at the end of the day. Our neighbor is Safety Warehouse and the PIKE trucks come by every evening to purchase socks and vests. PAR has set up their command center in our neighbor’s parking lot and we visit with all of them every evening when they’re getting off. I’m running out of beer money

Never used him personally but definitely agree here. Great reputation in the community.
