Hurricane Track recovered the box/cam from Cameron. It didn't look like it had been opened. Mark tweeted he will have an update video later. Will be interesting to see what the pressure sensor readings were.

#WindyPalmsProject results: Wind sensor deployment height 15 feet near Holly Beach, Louisiana. MAX wind gust of 154 mph at 12:33. Lowest barometric pressure of 945mb at 12:36am.
A height of 15 feet is only half the official height for wind measurements. That 154mph was likelycloser to 160 or maybe even a bit more.

Don't look now but the GFS-P (set to take over in September) shows a solid cat 2 coming into SWLA again.

Oh for fricks sake.... just arrived in LC, gen and AC set up and running going to start tarping 2 family homes tomorrow. This place is beyond anything I imagined and I went through Rita and Ike in SLC and Grand Lake. It’s going to be a long tough road.

It's running again right now. We'll see if it's still there or not.

Yes I'm the downvote -- nothing personal
. Give me good news later and I'll be an upvote.

I don't know, Holly Beach being right on the coast without trees and much in the way of structures to build much friction makes me think this 154 is basically correct. Don't think the extra 15' makes a huge difference in this case.
Also dude, don't show the GFS Para here. It's the only model doing that and there's no need to worry folks until there's more reason to be worried.
And just noticed it's 360 hours out. SMH.

I mean it's a 15 day out projection. Basically zero chance that'll be the path.
