OK I will. I really don't like to ask for help like that even if someone offers. Hate to burden people.

I will send you my number as well but we might do Harrahs so it's in a garage if I can do that for free. Just have to walk by all the homeless people to get to it.
Do that. I’ll be around pretty much all day tomorrow.

Seriously go get some Visqueen and 1x2 strips to use as furring strips and you can stop it from taking in more water. Tarps are hard to come by but no one things about using Visqueen. We have used it on bank properties for years. It doesn't last as long as a tarp but 2 months is better than nothing.
I would call ServPro asap and start ripping out as soon as you can. Photo document it along the way. The longer it sits the worse the mold will be and the longer it will take to get you back in the house.
Just finished tarping - 5 to get it done. Hunting down ServPro or the like first thing in the morning.

Running supplies down to some friends tomorrow from Shreveport. Is 171 the best route in to town from that direction? We know to bring plenty of gas and I’m thinking we avoid alexandria and skirt west as long as possible.

Let me know if you want to use my parking spot it’s in a lot on the corner of Tchop and Julia. I can bring you the gate remote and you’re welcome to use it.
This is a pretty great offer stout.

If you have a generator try to find some blower fans like this to circulate the air. Stagnant moist air in 90 plus degree will accelerate the growth.

Harbor Freight might have some cheap ones if they are open

My house in West Pointe has had power since last night and WiFi just came back about 45 minutes ago. The houses in west pointe up front near Lodi and in the back across the bayou still don’t have power. This may give you an idea of your status.
I'm right by that new traffic circle they put in on Jackson St. if that helps you find out exactly where I'm at
I'm sure anyone who knows the area probably knows exactly where I live in Ellick at this point
a former co-worker of mine who lives on Hannah Dr. just told me about an hour that he just got power back
so I'm hopeful that my power should probably be back already... esp. considering the extreme proximity to a fire station

Come by my shop on 90 with some buckets. There’s a faucet on the front of the building.

My parents have a pool. I’ll keep that in mind though, appreciate it.
