Appreciated. I knew by pics I’d probably need a roof. Today has me 80% sure it’ll be taken down to studs. Lot of wood exposed and a hole I could fit through so attic took in a ton of water during downpours today. Entire East and south sides are completely saturated. Ran shop vac top to bottom twice and still pouring in. Haven’t even climbed into the attic yet.

08's offer is probably pretty good. On st Charles you would have to head uptown, past the 90 overpass. Usually within a couple blocks you can find off street parking.

Stout, I also have a tree crew in LC that just got there today. They are staying with some other friends for now but they are looking to rent a house. They have their own generators, just need a house for about 6-8 people.

I’m sure hospitals had a plan but when you lose water they way they did, plan has to be changed.
Hope everyone is careful during cleanup and doesn’t need a hospital. I know for fact the military is manning a limited ER at Memorial. Y brother will be working with them.

Harrahs usually has free parking for 24 hours if you gamble for 30 minutes. We use it for Saints games. Sit at a penny slot machine, pull the handle once every 3-4 minutes, gamble for about 35 minutes to make sure you hit the 30, wait about 10-15 minutes after to let the system process, then go get your slip validated for 24 hours.
Usually lose about $3-5 in gambling doing it

Seriously go get some Visqueen and 1x2 strips to use as furring strips and you can stop it from taking in more water. Tarps are hard to come by but no one things about using Visqueen. We have used it on bank properties for years. It doesn't last as long as a tarp but 2 months is better than nothing.
I would call ServPro asap and start ripping out as soon as you can. Photo document it along the way. The longer it sits the worse the mold will be and the longer it will take to get you back in the house.

She takes 6 people max per HOA rules. I will email you her info.
Your tree crew will be getting a call from someone that works for a client of mine in Florida. She has family in Lake Charles and she called today looking for someone. I sent her their info.

My house in West Pointe has had power since last night and WiFi just came back about 45 minutes ago. The houses in west pointe up front near Lodi and in the back across the bayou still don’t have power. This may give you an idea of your status.

Cool. Let me know if you want to use my parking spot it’s in a lot on the corner of Tchop and Julia. I can bring you the gate remote and you’re welcome to use it. It’s the same lot Emeril uses for their Valet.
