I’ve pretty much made up my mind we are going to be building a house in Moss Bluff that’s hurricane resistant with like 8 inch walls. Generac, etc. I’m not doing this ride again this way.

TWC is short of hosting a mass prayer in hopes Shreveport gets destroyed instead of reporting on the mass damage in LA and TX.

Good ole baw from Shreveport just gave a “Geaux Tigahs” on the weather channel. Jen Carfagno says “well I guess we ARE in tiger country then”.

My brother and his family are so anxious to know how their house is. They live just south of the casinos, so I'm sure it's bad.

Our plan is to get back to Ragley on some property I have and build a red iron building with living area / barndominium and make it as weatherproof as possible.

IDC what the outside looks like honestly. Just want to be comfortable and have no worries.

From what I have seen on social media it looks like the Nelson area faired fairly well all things considered.

Either Rita was far more damaging or our infrastructure has vastly improved.

Laura was moving real fast, Rita was much slower. Laura had stronger winds but shorter time period

Is it too early to say your slanty eye wife won't be able to tell if it looks good or bad?
