CMC is west towards SELA. Big change from Destin.

Either yesterday or this morning.
Family member who works for dotd and hasn't worked from the office since April has to go in tomorrow.

So with the bubble, we'll be fine?

Not saying he is wrong but Larry Cosgrove is based out of Houston. Wishcasting is a very real thing and he may want the viewers and ratings.

I like Larry, but he has a history of predicting Houston runs.

What exactly is the bubble?

What do you think TWC wants putting 2 hurricanes over NOLA within 48 hours?

...... It was a joke.

They use the NHC forecasts.

Everyone will believe the models they want to believe. Wishcasting is the game. Nothing is known until this bitch gets into the gulf.

Cut me some slack please

Calling a complex forcefield a bubble is insulting to the Illuminati.

Well it won’t happen. Marco is getting eaten and pushed East...

Nothing is fundamentally changing on this run, just a different result of the land interaction providing a different launching point into the Gulf.
Well yes, but also, and I'm not arguing with you as you know your shite better than I.
But I noticed the ridge to be a little larger this run, or at least a little more pronounced to the SW. If you look at the mb lines associated with the H over the Tennessee Valley as the storm crosses the gulf the pressure is stronger to the SW over LA/MS on the most recent run 00z vs 18z.
Just something I noticed while refreshing and waiting for the next frames to load.
So a combination of the location near Cuba and a slightly different setup of the steering high would appear to be the cause of the shift at least for this run.

Was it TWC making the cones?

For someone who "makes a living because of the weather," you sure do make posts as if you've never been humbled by a prediction. The NHC says plenty still to go, but Tigerdroppings poster Dlab2013 has it all figured out.
