It was an idea kicked around that If Broadmoor did not bring back half its residents within four months after Katrina their homes could be razed and the land turned into parks.
That idea was scrapped in March 2006.
Just because something was mentioned doesn’t mean it was supposed to happen.

The plan was scrapped 3 months after it was brought up. It was never supposed to or was even close to happening.

I love how Cantrell has people like you brainwashed into believing she saved Broadmoor. Have you any idea the amount of law suits the city would be facing if they tried to take peoples properties to make it a park?

And the organization she was head of was the BIA, nothing but a neighborhood group. Hardly has enough stroke to shut down a master plan like you think it was.

I know she was president of her neighborhood association. How involved are you with your neighborhood association? They have more pull than you seem to think. I only know because I helped revive my neighborhood's association.
