What an irony: Ukrainian drones targeted Tu-95 bombers using AI trained on Soviet planes from a museum
Smart drones that are cheap have been made possible by the same technology that powers our cell phones and their cameras. This is only the beginning.

Give him and the others a break... there's little work in Mother Russia with the economy in shambles. A man has to do what he has to do to make a ruble.

- The air bases were covered by significant air defense forces - anti-aircraft missile systems, electronic warfare systems, regular patrols with small arms. But the Russians expected night strikes by heavy large strike drones, which are clearly visible in the air, and did not expect an attack by small quadcopters during the day.
Ah... this answers my earlier question...
and in calculating these things, you don't expect 100% success. 116 out of 150 launching is pretty good.

Is that a couple Tu-160 bombers burning I see? Why yes, yes it is!
16 months operation to burn 4 world war 2 era cargo planes. Fact that they were stored in the open an not hangers tells you all you need to know.

The Russian Air Force joins the Russian Navy... decimated by an opponent that is not a peer.

Governments and cops have no way to protect anyone from a basic drone terrorist attack. That's become clear, they are frozen and have no way to deal with it.

In the past 2 days I've checked in here for maybe 30-40 minutes twice.
But I understand the distortion of time when you're doing 12 hour shifts on the other side of the planet...

PR cope for a couple of days, but Ukraine's still has frontline deaths that are unsustainable. Eventually, they won't have a place to launch and organize these stunts. Or your Ukrainian grandmother will have to pipe up and get in the trench.
That's the problem with Ukraine. They and CIA/MI6 can organize these every couple of years, but they need to be systemic and continued for it to bear fruit. Right now all they did is tighten up security all the way around the country and every Ukrainian is going to be subjected to a cavity search like Muslims were after 9/11. There's no strategic long term value.

Hey, y'all! I thought I would poke my head in today and see if this was still the Geroman/Lord Bebo feed. Good to see that the same idiotic cope is still flowing.

Yes. But shouldn't they have launched this overnight? I doubt if anybody would've seen or noticed the drones launching in pitch black darkness (I don't see street lights or lights in that parking lot).
The Russian bases have active anti-drone teams at night, because of the threat of drones launched from Ukraine. They haven't had those teams actively working during the day, precisely because they thought that they would be aware of daytime drones well before they reached Russian bases.

Oh, so the thread has another FSB agent pretending to be a patriotic American who just happens to side with the enemy pointing 5000 nukes at us? Of course it does.

Hey GOP, welcome back, don't be a stranger. And yes, the paid trolls, unpaid trolls, useful idiots and members of the peanut gallery are still here. Just do as we all do and scroll past them.

Welcome back!
Thanks! Not hanging around, though.
I just wanted to come in and celebrate that Ukraine made the world a much safer place today. The danger that I or my family would die in a nuclear war just decreased a bit with the damage to Russia's strategic bomber fleet, so of course the people who would like for Russia to have a greater ability to kill me and my family are big mad.
