[quote]I was wondering how Ukraine was able to hit targets so deep into Russia. Now, I’m wondering how those cargo containers got from Ukraine into Russia. They had to have outside help because I don’t think there is any commercial traffic going between the two.

Me too. If I'm Russian security forces, I'm also wondering what else the Ukrainians left behind to go bang in the night.

Ukraine has at least 2 mother ship platforms that can launch FPVs for deep strikes. The latest one, a UAV, has a reported range of 300 km. The other one is a USV.

Exactly. How many of these drone trucks have been placed in Russia?

Very good point. This will have a huge impact on the long-range strikes Russia has been conducting.

Final Map of the Locations of the "Web" Operation by Ukraine's SBU in Russia:

- Olenya Air Base in the Murmansk Region
- Belaya Air Base in the Irkutsk Region
- Ivanovo Air Base in the Ivanovo Region
- Dyagilevo Air Base in the Ryazan Region
- Severomorsk (Main Administrative Base of the Russian Northern Fleet) in the Murmansk Region

quote:

Some report a strike at a 5th air base (Voskresensk, Moscow region), but only one video and no geolocation exists so far—so I can't confirm it right now.

I might update the map later. Others say it's "only" a small airstrip/training site, not key for military aviation.

quote:

Clarification: Images showing SBU plans with target locations do not include any facilities in Severomorsk.

Therefore, the map below provides a more accurate depiction of where strikes actually occurred.

Additionally, the fifth intended target was the Ukrainka air base, but the strike there was unsuccessful.
