We didn't import 10 million+ "skilled" laborers.

No.
Regardless of "race," when a population becomes modernized and urbanized they stop having as many kids... because kids stop being free farm labor (production units) and become expensive dependents (consumption units)... and as mortality rates go down and all those kids live into old age, it's kind of necessary in a way... because being old is expensive and drains a lot of a country's resources as far as taking care of people medically and otherwise past the age where they can work dependably.
It happens in every country... it's about to start happening in Mexico in the next decade as their economy and median standard of living flourishes. The better off, economically, a country is overall, the lower the birth rate.

But in Russia, it happened because... life was miserable and everybody outside of the big cities were broke with no prospects... while the children of middle-class and up people in the cities send their kids off to college outside the country and tell them to never come back,

When the Iron Curtain fell, Russia eventually had to give the Eastern European nations including Ukraine “their freedom back”. Now they are trying to take that back from them.
Defending one vs the other carries a similar burden. I know --- Putin is horrible. Yes, he is.
However, consider our defense of a "democracy" which has now suspended elections. Consider the reality of Ukrainian Nazi influence, or of the democracies which we severely uncut.
Now that may not, of itself, justify Russian incursions in the war. But, my goodness, when we couple it with the admitted dishonesty of the Minsk Accords targeting Russia, we have filthy, filthy hands. A failure to AT LEAST acknowledge that truth is (to be kind) counterproductive.

We let 10 million unproven people in without vetting them.
Our government chose not to follow the law for political gain.

Wrong again. We need skilled labor. We need entry level workers ready to learn and work.
It doesn’t matter where they are from,
That’s a predatory and anti American position
These policies make America less safe, they damage our culture, and impoverish people.

Well, it’s liberalism and the decline of religiosity, but these are all connected.
I’d point out, and let’s look at South Korea, that if your ideology leads to population collapse it’s an unhealthy belief system.

edit, as often seems to happen here I thought you were someone else when you answered this and probably incorrectly thought you were endorsing something...
so "the" answer is to limit women's choices? reduce them solely breeding stock?

Right, unfettered immigration does make it unsafe. It’s bad business. As far as culture goes it’s a complex issue. America has thrived because we have embraced all cultures.

Both Russia and the US agreed to stand up and support Ukrainian sovereignty if Ukraine would give up their nukes. We are honoring our end of the bargain, Russia is not.
It is important that the US live up to their agreements today, tomorrow and way in to the future.

I never considered we were giving Sid to defend democracy. We are giving aid as part of our promise. We are siding a nation that is being invaded by a nation that has repeatedly defied conventional laws of nations and had done that to oppose us at every turn despite what we did to save their asses.
And the Nazi thing is way over blown.
The Minsk accords didn’t target Russia. They were a series of deals cut in Russia’s favor. It never worked. Both sides broke agreements.

Not the point I was making. All these young ones who were hollering Boomer, are seeing prices rise because Boomers are almost all gone from the workforce. We do need properly vetted skilled labor.

The Ukranian Constitution suspends elections in time of war, which is actually smart and pragmatic.
I'm just going to make a Samuel L. Jackson meme to have ready to post every time someone says this like it's some violation of democracy,,,
And why no mention of the fact that Russian elections are completely rigged so that Putin wins?

Wrong again. America was built on immigrants.
We’re a former English colony, one that was settled by largely Englishmen, and our success stems from that English culture that our ancestors passed down to us, our belief in values like tolerance and fair play, it also stems from the unusual human potential of our ancestors. They were exceptionally capable people. Of course we also have a large Black population due to slavery as well.
Insofar as we’re a country of immigrants, post 1790, we’re a country of Christian European immigrants. And that’s worked, for the most part, because our values and world views were fairly similar. That’s not to say assimilation was easy, the integration of German Americans was actually difficult. But we were still able to sustain our success and maintain a relatively homogenous identity on a national level. Tribalism wasn’t a problem for us.
Mass migration disrupts our culture though, and brings tribal factionalism. And we gain nothing from, for example, bringing in largely unemployable Haitians with IQs in the sixties.

America has thrived because we have embraced all cultures.
It’s only led to social retrenchment and distrust. Putnams conclusions are what they are.

Right, unfettered immigration does make it unsafe.
The reason Haiti is poor and violent, is because of the people who live there. India has sky high rates of rape, because of the men who live there. The Arab world also has problems with sexual violence, and now that so many live in Europe, Europe also has a problem with sexual violence, and it’s everywhere from Sweden, to the UK, to Germany and France.

This is just factually, statistically, scientifically, irrefutably incorrect.
The Top Ten Country of Origin for US immigrants are
Mexico
India
China
Phillipines
El Salvador
Guatemala
Honduras
South Korea
Vietnam
Cuba
These represent over 75% of the immigrants living in this country today.
Not a single European country on the list.
I don't disagree with everything that you said. But when you corrupt your argument with bullshite like this, no one takes you seriously.

Up to early 1960's the most immigrants came from Germany, Second Italy
