Some in power appear to be becoming more concerned about Russia's future.

Orban finna throw Russia under the bus

The war in #Ukraine, which has been going on for more than a year, has deprived #Russia of its last allies in Europe. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said the country would have to reconsider relations with Moscow because of "changing geopolitical realities".

Hell even Siberia is moving away from Russia. The Wagner group reminds me of the brown shirts in Nazi Germany, they helped put the Nazis in power and then as soon as it was done were wiped out by the military. I have little doubt the Russian military will take out Wagner at first good opportunity.

Nice map from a new to me source. Shows specific unit positions around Bakhmut
https://twitter.com/Pouletvolant3/status/1633887385468428288
One of the twitter accounts I follow is a former US marine, James Vasquez, who has been fighting on and off in Ukraine since the war started. He is currently a member of the 67th Mechanized Brigade deployed on the front lines just north of Bakhmut.
This map correctly shows the postion of where his unit is, so there is at least one non related confirmation of the maps accuracy.

British Defence Intelligence
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 11 March 2023
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
Over the last four days, Wagner Group forces have taken control of most of eastern part of the Donbas town of Bakhmut. In the town centre, the Bakhmutka River now marks the front line.
Ukrainian forces hold the west of the town and have demolished key bridges over the river, which runs through north-south through a strip of open ground 200m-800m wide, between built up areas. With Ukrainian units able to fire from fortified buildings to the west, this area has become a killing zone, likely making it highly challenging for Wagner forces attempting to continue their frontal assault westwards.
However, the Ukrainian force and their supply lines to the west remain vulnerable to the continued Russian attempts to outflank the defenders from the north and south.

Interior minister: Ukraine almost done assembling new assault brigades
by The Kyiv Independent news desk
March 11, 2023 2:59 pm
Ukraine is almost done forming new assault brigades, also known as the Offensive Guard, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko announced on March 11.
According to Klymenko, 28,000 volunteers have already applied to join the Offensive Guard. The forces are now collecting reservists.
Training for the Offensive Guard is already underway, the minister added. Members of these units will train for two-to-four months before seeing combat, according to an earlier statement by National Guard spokesman Ruslan Muzychuk.
The Offensive Guard brigades are meant to strengthen Ukraine's Armed Forces and help them liberate occupied territories. This initiative and its recruitment drive were announced at the start of February.

That lends credence to a Russian false flag operation.
Yes, but if it was a Russian false flag operation, then the mystery is why Russia never really tried to pin the blame on Ukraine. Why would Russia jump all over the Sy Hersh story and instead blame the US?
If Russia had actually pursued a "blame Ukraine" strategy early on, they might have been able to anger the German public enough to prevent future German aid to Ukraine.
Like, the whole point Russia doing a false flag operation to blame Ukraine would be to actually ... blame Ukraine. And they didn't.
I have yet to see any theory that truly makes sense and doesn't have significant gaps.

People have been claiming Russia would commit “false flag” attacks since day one and none of them have actually happened.

Prigozhin announced today in a video he was going to run for President in 2024
Couple of other points I saw as well:
1. The local separatist militias and the Russian army in Georgia have been placed on alert. Don't think anything happens because the Russians can't afford opening another front but something to watch.
2. The first Danish Leo 1A5s will arrive in May.

My biggest question is if the Russians are playing possum or they really this bad at trying to takeover a country. I mean tons of credit for the troops and defense by Ukraine, but most would think this would have been over by now if Russia is so mighty.

I saw that. And these are a mix of Danish, Dutch, and German Leo 1s that the three nations are refurbishing together. They had 178 of them in storage, and they promised that they'd get at least a hundred of them fixed up, operational, and sent to Ukraine. But May is obviously too late for the spring offensive.
They had to find some retired guys to come back and train the Ukrainians on these things, as they didn't have enough active-duty tankers who were trained on them.
I suppose that it still helps the spring offensive in that Ukraine can risk more of its T-72s, knowing that these Leo 1s are coming in to replenish their reserves.

I watched some of his videos from Bakhmut. The man was obviously drunk. Putin lets him ramble on and say whatever he wants about the Russian military leadership. The leadership has supposedly cut all contact with Prigozhin. He claims that they refuse to see his representatives and have even dropped any method of him communicating with them.
Putin benefits from this internal fight and allows it. Better to have his dogs fighting each other than going after him. Hitler used the same strategy with his inner circle.
If anyone does any background on Prigozhin and his past they will find he is a real thug. Served prison time earlier in his life. He is brutal and has no morality whatsoever. He reminds me of some of Hitler's thugs that he kept around early on in the 1920's. Criminals some of which had committed crimes such as murder. Street thugs. Or maybe Prigozhin has become to Putin what Ernst Rohm became to Hitler.
But he is becoming a sort of folk hero to many in Russia.

They could easily roll through Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania before any response from NATO partners. They really weren't that great in 2008 vs. Georgia were at the end of their supply lines virtually running out of gas. They did have time to rebuil and rearm before Ukraine full invasion without using their troops as the Little Green Men facade.

Peter Zeihan states that the US knows everything that the Kremlin is doing immediately, but China is so closed we have no clue but guessing. I have no idea if that is even close to factual about Russia due some of Zeihan's ideas are pretty good, others he opines on, he has zero clue and more like Cliff Claven bar room talk.

I think russia is just jumbled mess this whole time. I’m way more worried about China than Russia. I hope it never comes to using nukes but if that happens we should be able to both of them away.

Last night, I thought the news from Bakhmut was negative, but it looks better this morning.
Start with the kills report, and yesterday was a good day to die if you were a Russian soldier. Also, look at the claimed tank, IFV, and artillery kills:
So this would indicate that the Ukrainian strategy of ensuring that the "Russian offensive" continues is a good one. I know that a lot of those losses were in the Kreminna area, where Russia tried some attacks that completely failed.
Also, in the list of areas that the UA staff reported repelling Russian attacks, they listed the town of Paraskoviyivka, and that's a bit of a shock, because that's a suburban area of Bakhmut which has been under Russian control for a long time. That would imply that Ukraine significantly pushed Russia back in the north of Bakhmut.
If it is indeed true that Ukraine has pushed Russia back to the outskirts of Paraskoviyivka today, then a new map might look something like this (from @HeliosRunner):
So, today might have been a very good day for Ukraine. Or, the UA general staff might have been wrong or lying -- we'll see.
