I saw people band together tonight in friendship and I know that the people fighting in Ukraine have the support of the Russian people. Putin has lost his mind and the world is going to hold him accountable for this.
One of my wife's friends is married to a Serbian guy. He has no animosity toward Croatians. A lot of that enmity seems to disappear when they're away from the influence of the old country.

I was worried about the dinner tonight, but once her parents and their old friends got together their home countries were a non issue. Obviously it dominated the conversation but watching everyone come together was nice. Especially considering we had some folks who have family fighting as we speak
