As they shouldn’t. You don’t let people anywhere close to something so secret like that aircraft until it’s in service. They have to unveil it for the Pentagon brass but make no mistake they want as few people near that thing as possible.

France has sent 2 M270s that just got to Ukraine. That’s 13 M270s in Ukraine’s arsenal now along with 20 HIMARS. The M270s will be more vital to Ukraine right now than the HIMARS due to them being tracked instead of the wheeled HIMARS because they can navigate the slop hole that is the Ukraine right now in the muddy season.

Ukraine were generally better soldiers / easier the deal with than former " spoiled" U.S. Soldiers with war experience

I can absolutely see this at some levels. Tell a framing contractor they have to build a house with a hammer and a handsaw and he is probably going to tell you to go frick yourself. A person that has never used a nail gun or circular saw is just going to hunker down and start sawing and nailing. A US soldier is likely going to balk when he personal equipment is substandard, they start talking about CASEVAC and not MEDEVAC*, and indirect fire support and CAS are just pipedreams. A US soldier's problem is usually having too much stuff and figuring out how to edit it down to just what he needs to hump.

While they probably were dealing with some outright thieves in the beginning it does sound like he has never been explained how the redistribution of military assets at the squad level works aka pilfering. There is only one thief in the whole army, everyone else is just trying to get their shite back.

*US MEDEVAC ability probably reduces KIA rates by 50% or more.

Is Zelensky the Antichrist or just a demon, Russian talking heads explore this timely topic. Funny how Russia has changed (at least in lip service) regarding religion just 20 years removed from the atheist USSR.

Politards are outraged too. All he did is ban what is under the Moscow Patriarchy which has acted as a spy network for the Kremlin. Everyone with half a brain already knows that the Moscow Patriarch is on Putin's kleptocrat payroll.

Lockheed Martin just awarded a new $431 million contract to accelerate the building of HIMARS from the current level of 60 per year to 96 in order to replenish American stocks, particularly the Marines, of which the 20 sent to Ukraine came from their existing stocks. This will also accelerate the timeline that Ukraine receives the 18 new HIMARS they plan to buy bringing their total to 38 HIMARS and 13 M270s along with a couple Turkish TRLG-230s. Russia is starting g to counter the HIMARS with the Tornado-S MLRS system and they say they have a new software that hits 100% of all HIMARS rockets fired which we know is bullshite but they have been more effective lately in intercepting them.

There’s been a lot of talk about what the best place for Ukraine to go on the attack is. My answer is you go with the area that you can make gains wherever that is. Going for Melitopol and cutting the land bridge to Crimea would be fantastic but it seems like right now the north is where they can make progress. Squeeze them from whatever direction circumstance allows. The main objective is taking back their land, take it where you can get it.

The poliboard regarding putin falling down and pissing himself

Joe has been doing this routinely and in front of world leaders for how many months? Doesn’t seem to bother you at all.

heard the Ghost of Kyiv did a fly by the tower and it startled him. Putin was busy discussing how those soldiers on the island, despite being out of ammo, told the Russians to GFYO before being bombed by a warship and how that old farmer in Ukraine killed 30 Germans with a pellet gun and was distracted
quote:

Yeah I'm sure all this is true right as he has cut off most power to the Ukraine and about punch through their front lines and control all of the Donbas. Ukrainian soldiers are refusing orders to go to the front lines. They have enough high caliber rounds to last maybe a week or so left. And it's the winter grind and Putin has 385,000 fresh soldiers ready to replace the front lines. It's all but over just depends on when Biden wants to throw in the towel and how fast they can get a deal done with Russia.

It’s pretty comical. They just continue to defend Putin and Russia, and then claim to not be supporters of Putin.

After Russia surrenders, yes. Until then, easy target.

The company owns 17 of these. Cuba and South Africa both have them for power

Brilliant.

I love this thread, you and all the other rational contributors are doing a great job explaining things.

If their Khan class, that's 470 MW per ship so one in Odessa. one each could be placed in Odessa, Mykolayiv, Kherson, Mariupol, Sebastopol, Berdyansk... LNG supplied by someone.

Each ship can power 1 million people. That’s crazy and will greatly help a long process of rebuilding Ukraine’s power grid. And you’re right, Russia won’t dare touch it.

Depends which class of powership, they have several classes. Runs on dual fuel, HFO (heavy fuel oil) or Natural gas.

Karpowership

Shallow enough draft to go into any Ukrainian port

And you probably thought Putin would be in Kyiv in 3 days.
