Inaccuracies in CNN’s Kherson counteroffensive reporting, AFU source tells NV

Ukrainian forces continue to advance near Kherson, but some media reports of liberated settlements are partially inaccurate, a source in the Armed Forces of Ukraine told NV on Aug. 30.
CNN earlier reported that Ukrainian troops have driven Russian out of Novodmytrivka, Arkhanhelkse, Pravdyne, and Tomyna Balka.
While Pravdyne has indeed been liberated, our source said that Novodmytrivka and Tomyna Balka remain contested.
According to the source, Russian garrisons in nearby Stanislav and Shyroka Balka would have to be driven off first before Tomyna Balka can be secured.

Kherson "counter-offensive". as of this minute Kherson is still under Russian occupation/control.
facts:
1. Russia still holds fire superiority in two main areas of combat. Armor and Artillery superiority over Ukraine.
2. Ukraine has more infantrymen in the area, you can only do so much without support from Artillery and Armor.
3. Ukraine has not taken back Kherson

I mean by your own reasoning those offensives never happened since the cities weren't captured. Personally, I would call them "Failed Offensives", but the logic you laid out would say these offensives never even happened and Ukraine couldn't possibly be in the middle of a counter offensive since Kherson is still under Russian control. It's some serious mental gymnastics you are displaying.
ETA: It's like saying a football team had 0 offensive drives because they didn't score points. It makes no damn sense
