The back window does look way too much like a Honda.
The side mirrors look funny to me. Mounted lower than the windows.

That's the Jeep model, keep the design the same for decades and the value of the used car remains high. Change body styles every 3 years and the used car is worthless.

For Chevrolet, they were mounted on the door below the window until 1987. That's where it should be IMO.
And gear shifts for automatics belong on the column in a truck.

Looks longer, taller, and wider than the Tundra or current Sierra. As in....it may not fit in some garages.

toyota has always been of the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mindset when it comes to their vehicle aesthetics. Which I have no problem with. If you take care of your vehicle no one knows if its got 200K or or if you just drove it off the lot.

I disagree. The new Camry looks so much uglier than the previous generation. The previous generation was conservatively styled, but it wasn't really ugly. They'd have done better with a more "evolutionary" strategy to styling.
I also much prefer the styling of the Tacoma and Tundra from 15 years ago than today.

if you think Toyota is trying to make/sell as many trucks as Chevy/ford. That's not their business model at all. They manufacture and sell every truck withing 90 days of it hitting a lot. They never have gluts of inventory, which is why they don't have to discount much if any, and why the domestics are way overpricing their vehicles, and then discounting heavily to make you think you are getting a good deal, even though there is still a lot of margin for the manufacturer.

they are fairly competitive in the consumer market. The american brands just own the commercial/fleet market and it wont stop
