You've never seen a concrete bag retaining wall...? They build boat launches with them all around Lake Fork in Texas.
We built a concrete bag bulkhead for my Mom's fishing camp south of Galveston. They hardened pretty quickly.

That's neat. Just wet the bag first, let the concrete harden in the bag, peel the bag off, instant landscaping block.

We just stacked them up dry in the bag. They got wet through boat wakes mostly, but also tides and rain. The bags fell off pretty quickly, but not before the concrete had taken shape. Laying them down dry works better because they will mold to each other and the landscape.

you don't even have to peel the bag off, they're biodegradable and usually are off within a few months..

Maybe the hope was that the liquids as the body broke down would absorb into the concrete, somehow masking the odor or dna? I don’t know, I’m just spitballing here.
Concrete has lime in it.. I have heard said that lime breaks down the putrid decomposing smell... or that could be an old internet wives tales.

You meant to say after googling is cement acidic

I fully understand that cement itself is extremely basic and has a high PH,

NBC Bay Area reports that the car, a Mercedes convertible that appears to be a 1990s SL, is out of the ground and currently being examined for any evidence that may point to what actually happened. Police say they still don’t know why the car was buried, but KRON4 says it was reported stolen in 1992. So insurance fraud seems likely, although it’s possible the insurance fraud was connected to another crime.
